    Per the business owners suggestion I've tried a few "whole pies" here since my single slice experience was lackluster. I can safely say that both the deep dish and thin crust are deliciously satisfying.

    If you're a "gets heartburn from tomato sauce as I get older" person like me, maybe take some mylanta before you dig into the deep dish as it is heavy on the 'mater sauce--but not overwhelming.

    The thin crust though is some of the best I've had! I've ordered a few times after a positive experience catering my daughter's bday party. The My Pi special is a classic but my favorite is the Modern Art (white sauce)! I'm a huge fan of pesto and artichokes and this pie is a perfect combo of both.

    Holy Smokes!
    Can I please get your attention here!
    I just ate the best Rueben of my life here at this little hole in the wall. This place is a diamond in the rough!
    Less than a month ago, I came here to try out their pizza off a recommendation from three years ago.
    I tried the thin crust and the deep dish and I was partially satisfied.
    While I was thee, I reviewed their vast list of sandwiches and said I would be back.
    I attempted to order the Ultimate Homemade Rueben but was quickly rerouted due to the fact that it is limited edition. Only available on Fridays and Saturday.
    I settled for the Ruebenesque. The best settling I have ever done.
    This sandwich was magic. It's as if the sandwich fairies and the genie fairies got together and had a wizard fairy baby and the baby contoured this sammy.
    Understand this, I live for a bad Yelp review.
    So when I took my first bite of this epic edible adventure, I stopped mid sandwich to post about this work of art.
    The corned beef brisket is so good, it will make your baby's baby's baby cry. It literally melts in your mouth like butter on a steaming pile of taters.
    The pickle is homemade and you can taste the love put into this spear of awesomeness.
    The sauerkraut was like ridiculous. It was mild, flavorful and a symphony of savory goodness!

    Stop what you are doing and get your butts over here and get this sandwich. Hot damn!

    This is the best vegan deep dish pizza I've ever had. The crust on it is simply amazing!! It is a little pricy, but honestly, it's worth every penny. I do wish they had vegan slices on other days besides Sunday's but other than that I have no issues.

    I'll be back for the thin crust vegan pizza

    I've been a customer and fan of this uniquely delicious pizza since the early 1980s when they were across the street from the Loyola University campus on Sheridan.
    Try it once and you'll be hooked too!!

    Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, Wow! A fourth-generation baker makes pizza dough that forms the perfect crust to hold a deep-dish pie. The crust is tender, chewy, yet firm, which, when covered with mozzarella, then piled with toppings and covered by chunky, juicy and flavorful tomato sauce, can be picked up in one hand without drooping. The sauce is full of herbs which means even a vegetarian pie will be heavenly. Hubby and I were starving but one piece each plus a make-your-own salad completely satisfied us for less than $14. My Pie also makes thin-crust pizza plus lots of different sandwiches but we're headed off to our next travel stop tomorrow so can't come back to My Pie until our next Chicago trip, darn! However, they ship anywhere in the US.
